A goulash quilt. made from leftovers from other quilts. Pieces already cut and sewn together into: sometimes blocks, half blocks, strips. Said bits thrown together in an improv manner with very little thought. A leftover surprise. 
 
The cat fabric in this quilt is called "catberry RFD"
