Jenny's star

When I first met my sister in law jenny I thought she was boring. She was JUST. SO. NEUTRAL! Thankfully she does not hold this against me. As I have come to learn she is not boring. Her neutrality is her amazing strength. She is a kind, calm dislover of tension.

She is well suited to her job in HR. An unpaid position she also seems to fill in our family.

We are a family of creatives who love color.

Jenny is color averse. She loves a neutral does our jenny. The star in this quilt I'm working on is our jenny: a neutral and soothing but bright and ever steady presence in our colorful and chaotic family.

Jenny's star. It may be just white and plain muslin...but it is NOT boring.
