i'm an alternative-hillbilly-Donna Reed. i make my own clothes and build my own furniture. i adore cleaning and doing laundry. i'm crap at computers and the maths. frustratingly i seem to need more and more of both in this modern sewing life.

my sewing adventures started when i was 5. since then, i've never not sewn. my current modus operandi includes being open to the unexpected, rejoicing in happy accidents, embracing the flaws, and a willingness to go where the quilt takes me. although i make similar quilts with similar patterns, i never make the exact same quilt twice.

i find humor to be as comforting as a quilt. infectious mirth for me is about spreading comfort through playful quilting. my piecing and quilting are often less than perfect, but my quilts are nothing less than self-award winning.
